Local knowledge. Personal guidance. Support beyond settlement.

Buying your first home can come with as many questions as it does possibilities. For Tash Davis, making space for those questions is an essential part of her work.

Through her Whyalla based Loan Market business, Tash helps people navigate home lending, personal and car loans, business and asset finance. She researches lender options, manages the application process and helps clients understand their next steps, with clear communication and a personal approach.

Her goal is to make people feel comfortable, informed and supported through some of life’s biggest financial decisions.

Before establishing her business in 2023, Tash spent a decade working in real estate. She loved property and helping people, but could see how much support buyers needed when it came to understanding their finance.

After stepping away from real estate, she joined ANZ, working first as a teller in Port Augusta and later in an assistant manager role in agribusiness. Along the way, she completed her Diploma in Mortgage Broking and Finance and began working towards opening her own business.

With encouragement from her husband, she took the leap. Ray White Whyalla and Port Augusta shared office space to help her get started, bringing together her experience in property and banking.

Today, her background helps her guide clients through the broader purchasing journey, from preparing their finances and understanding the buying process to getting ready for settlement.

Tash particularly loves helping first home buyers and people who thought owning a home might be out of reach.

Sometimes that means helping someone ready to purchase now. Other times, it means working with them well before they are ready, explaining what could strengthen their application and helping them understand what to work towards.

She welcomes the questions people worry are too small or too obvious to ask. Her focus is on helping clients feel confident enough to understand their options and make informed decisions.

That relationship continues after settlement. As circumstances change, Tash helps clients review their lending, explore their next property purchase or consider refinancing. She also regularly reviews rates and requests better pricing from existing lenders where appropriate.

Tash and her husband arrived in Whyalla through his career. Initially hesitant about moving somewhere they knew nobody, Tash found a community that welcomed them and gave them room to build a life.

Whyalla has been the backdrop to getting engaged and married, purchasing their home, starting a business and becoming parents.

It’s a connection she carries into her work and community involvement. Tash has hosted first home buyer information nights with more than 50 attendees and sponsors the Whyalla Wanderers Soccer Club. As her business grows, she hopes to support more local clubs and eventually create a full time local employment opportunity.

Outside work, life revolves around family and their two dogs, Bella and Luka. There are weekends at soccer and cricket, beach trips, playground visits and adventures involving good food. She also enjoys photography, capturing drone footage, editing videos and following Formula 1.

Whether you’re preparing to buy your first home, considering your next move or exploring finance for a vehicle or business, Tash welcomes a conversation about your goals.
