flick hair

For Stephanie, hairdressing has always been about more than just hair, it’s about helping people feel confident, cared for, and comfortable in themselves.

After more than 10 years in the industry, Flick Hair was created from a desire to build something more flexible for both her family and the families she works with every day. Currently operating as a mobile hairdressing business while working toward opening her dream salon, Stephanie offers personalised hair services with a relaxed, down-to-earth approach.

Confident in all aspects of hairdressing, she especially loves to work her magic on blondes and with kids cuts, and also works with local aged care residents every Tuesday. Something she says she genuinely loves. After originally planning to take time away from the industry, she quickly realised how much she missed her clients and making people feel beautiful, leading her to start building a business of her own.

For Stephanie, the most rewarding part of the job is the connection she builds with people. Over the years, many clients have become long-term relationships, trusting her through everything from first haircuts to major life milestones. She wants every appointment to feel easy, welcoming, and enjoyable. Whether it’s helping a busy mum relax, making kids feel comfortable during haircuts, or simply giving someone a confidence boost.

Clients return not only for great hair, but for the warm atmosphere, laughs, and genuine care they experience with Stephanie.

Though not originally from Whyalla, Stephanie proudly calls it home. It’s where she built her career, raised her family, and found the community she loves. Passionate about supporting local businesses and hardworking families, she hopes her future salon becomes a welcoming space where everyone feels valued and cared for.

Right now, her focus is on completing that dream salon and continuing to create a business built around connection, flexibility, and making people feel their best.
